Wasted Money: ACS Grantee Links Obesity and Colorectal Cancer ...

Editors Note: Here is another case of wasted money. The research done here- no matter how ?technical or scientific? sounding -? is like the ?tinkling brass or sounding cymbal?? of useless medical clutter. It certainly represents? dumb medicinal science; in a world that is in dire need of competence applied to medicine. It reminds me of how I once linked-at a very young age- the melting of my ice cream cone to the heat of a sunny day at the playground. Dr. Heather Bittner-Fagan would have been more on the money had she reconfirmed the link between bovine tuberculosis [plus other TB forms] and colorectal cancer. Or, Maybe Dr. Bittner-Fagan could have republished a headline that appeared on the Final Call newpaper about 15 years ago. That headline simply and eloquently stated:? ?RED MEAT = DEATH?.? Now that?s science?with a real purpose other than trying to stack publications. Lastly,? while Dr.Fagan?s? research certainly is not worthy of? any academic prize, our committee has decided that her efforts could best be rewarded with a can of chocolate? SlimFast.? So? drink up Doc? an let the? chocolate brown color remind you of:? the color of bullshit.
