NFL fines Eagles' Jackson, Jenkins, three Ravens

The NFL weighed in on the illegal extracurricular activity during the Eagles win over the Ravens last week.

The league fined Cullen Jenkins of the Eagles and Marshal Yanda of the Ravens $7,875 each for unnecessary roughness for striking each other after the whistle and away from Vonta Leach's five-yard scoring run in the first quarter.

The NFL billed Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson $10,000 for unnecessary roughness for the punch he threw at Ravens cornerback Cary Williams, fined $10,000 for unnecessary roughness for grabbing Jackson's facemask.

Also fined was Ravens running back Ray Rice, who owes $7,875 for unnecessary roughness for a late hit on Eagles cornerback Brandon Boykin. That came after DeMeco Ryans picked off Joe Flacco in the third quarter.
