What if: Cousin qualifies -> Grandma opens a CD -> Suddenly all grandchildren are eligible? I could see it being advantageous for an entire family to have grandparents keep a stable of credit union accounts....

Using grandparents' for fun and profit?

You pretty much nailed my thought process using this condition above "Family Members?including grandparents, parents, spouses, siblings, grandchildren, children (including adopted and stepchildren) and household members". I'm also curious who is a "household member". If I have a military roommate is he a household member?
